Tavistock Carnival

Saturday 17th July 2021

With lots of independent shops and an undercover traditional market, the town is a shopper’s paradise. Steeped in history, your visit would not be complete without a trip to the museum or completing the heritage trail.

Carnival Week

Organised by Tavistock Lions Club, the Carnival Week is packed full of events and activities for all tastes culminating in Carnival Day on the 17th with the parade along Plymouth road at 6:30pm.
Events include a Fun Day in the Meadows, a Baby Show, Pavement Art, Music and a mega quiz!
See
Tavistock Lions for more information.

Carnival Day

Slotted around the carnival procession is a one-day festival, hosted in venues and locations all around the town centre. Local businesses present a whole day and evening of events, local music and entertainment.

There are fairground rides on Bedford Square with the grand procession through the town starting at 6.30pm.
This day is organised by the Lions Club of Tavistock in collaboration with Tavistock BID.
