Tavistock by Night

From local Craft Beer & Cider to late night music, Tavistock has it all

for your perfect night-out!

If a drink is what you're looking for after your day at work (or shopping), then why not try local craft beer spots Too Hoppy and the Stannary Brewery - both serving a nice range of IPAs, Ciders & Lagers. Or how about a lounge-bar like Jack Chams where you can often catch live sports or music to help you wind down (or up)?

If food is on the cards then perhaps it's a Pizza night? You'll love the top-rated pizza spot in town: Robertson's! Serving locally since 2006 Robertson's won an Observer Food Magazine award for “the best pizza in the Southwest, with a huge local following”. It's no wonder! Pizza is a regular favourite & their fresh dough & own sauce can only leave you wanting more. There's also the idyllic Church Lane, serving mediterranean-style food. Located next to the Parish Church, it is set in a beautifully restored former auction room with lovely outside space for those balmy evenings.

Tavistock also boasts some fantastic restaurants for your evening meal. Top rated in the area is The Annex: a wonderful Mediterranean restaurant in a gorgeous setting by the viaduct with additional outdoor seating. A stream of fantastic reviews has this eatery right at the top spot on Trip Advisor. But don't forget The Cornish Arms, our very own top-50 Gastro Pub! Rated at number 14, it has also been awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand for offering high-quality food at an affordable price.

With movies, music, and its very own canal-side café: The Wharf is a local delight! It features a cinema, theatre & regular live music acts with its own wonderful coffee café right by the water. But don't fret! there's a licensed bar inside the venue for those late-night experiences too.

To round the night off, for those wearing dancing shoes, then head to HQ. Tavistock has been blessed with its very own club since July 2012 and for 10 years now they've been spinning tunes under a brightly lit moon. Open from 5pm this cocktail bar & club brings a taste of the big city bar/club world right on our doorstep.

There's always more to see, and this is just a selection!

In order to earn the greatest score in the watermelon game , the object is to "evolve" these fruits into bigger and bigger fruits, until you reach a watermelon.
